Amongst Other Gifts You Can Gain Through A Home Based Business

I have been researching many social media blogs and making many new like minded friends in our industry and it has been nothing short of inspiring, mind-boggling, and with so much to learn.
I have been thinking to myself, "Well what can I contribute to this world of blogging?" The answer came to me: Blog about the benefits and value you have gained Shannon from taking the leap into entrepreneurship and leadership. So here we are.
I can tell you one thing that money cannot buy, and it is the value of a person that you become when you decide to join this industry. The shaping and molding of personal circumstances and the challenge to succeed is what makes the journey so sweet. If you're in for the short run, it's not purposeful. You must commit to the long haul. Experts say to commit three to five years or longer in my case. It takes courage to go through the struggles, to experience the process, because it is...a process. Most give up and give in when they haven't really gotten started. It has taken me six years of constant growth to be where I am at today, something that I am very proud of myself for. But the changes you make within yourself impacts everyone and everything around you. The relationship you have with yourself affects all others. It is when you believe in your heart that your personal happiness makes everyone else around you happy.
I have studied many great leaders who research energy. They say when your energy is good, peace flows in all your surroundings. And when your energy is not, chaos is constant and shows up as things in your immediate environment breaking down including ourselves. That is where I was six years ago. And there is always an opportunity to begin change.
I believe today though that spiritual essences or gifts are the greatest to collect in this lifetime. And I've learned this from having the flexiblity of being a home business professional with the time to study and being around successful and like-minded friends.
Gifts that I believed I gained through this process is the gift of love, gratitude, patience, forgiveness, compassion, relationships and kindness all of which was so foreign to me. Locked up within with no awareness that it existed. I have awaken to many things and essences about me. And it is there with all of us. These gifts are priceless and will take you far beyond the journey of this life. These are the things you want to have too. For everyday when you embark towards your goals and dreams, remember, it is these kinds of gifts that no one can ever take away.

  1. Hey Shannon!

I completely agree with you that the unintended reward for most of us who strive for success in the home business industry is the drastic change in who we are and how we see the world. In order to be successful we must first become the best versions of ourselves that we can be. Those changes don't only impact us, but everyone that we come in to contact with.

You should be very proud that or your dedication and determination. You have such a giving spirit and I KNOW that you will contribute tremendously through blogging. You are already contributing more than you know!

If you ever want help getting a Worpress.ORG blog set up, don't hesitate to ask. I am working on a lot of training materials now to help people get started. I would also be willing to connect on Skype to help you get started and answer any questions you might have.

I look forward to learning more about you through your blog!

    To your success!
    Melissa

  3. Aloha Shannon,

Oh, I agree with you on the gifts we gain as home based business owners. It's like what Robert Kiyosaki teaches in his book, "The Business School", it's the life skills which are not taught in school and must be experienced to really be learned. Once you have truly walked down the road, you can never really go back. It's so fascinating and teaches us so much!
Thank you for being willing to learn as you journey with other successful entrepreneurs down the "rabbit hole". :)
